We are beyond grateful for our time at The Curious Minds. When we received the heartbreaking news that my daughter's previous school was shutting down, our family had to quickly find a new place for her on very short notice. I immediately thought of Ms. Alicia, the Head of School at Curious Minds, whom I had known previously, and reached out within days. Without hesitation, she welcomed my family with open arms and made what could’ve been a stressful transition feel incredibly smooth and comforting. From the very first day, we felt the warmth, professionalism, and dedication that radiates from this school. My daughter flourished both emotionally and academically thanks to the incredible environment the team has created. A very special thank you to Ms. Irene, my daughter's teacher, who showed her so much love, care, and patience every single day. She adored Ms. Irene and felt so safe and supported in her classroom. It meant the world to our family to see her so happy and excited to go to school each morning. I knew each morning at drop off that she was in great hands. Ms. Alicia, thank you for your guidance, open communication, and for creating a space where children can thrive. Your leadership shines through in every aspect of the school community. The Curious Minds has been such a blessing to our family. Though we’re sad to say goodbye, we leave with full hearts and lasting gratitude. Our son was part of Curious Minds for about a year. We had a fantastic experience with the team at Curious Minds. The team is well led by Ms. Alicia and they have a great team of teachers. All the teachers are very caring, kind, look after each kid's needs and know how to encourage and build new skills with each student. Our son learnt a lot there including building his social skills, being independent and exploring his curiousity!

Curious Minds Montessori School in South Riding provided my child with a great after school program. My child made friends and was well cared for. My child enjoyed the personal attention my child was given and the ability to have fun with projects and playground activities after a day of school. Ms. Alicia, Head of school, is a great leader and communicator who kept us well informed all school year.

We are grateful for the time our daughter spent at Curious Minds. From the very beginning, the school provided a nurturing, warm, and enriching environment. The teachers and staff were caring, attentive, and professional, and they supported our daughter's growth both academically and socially. My son had a wonderful preschool experience at Curious Minds. He learned so much in a short time, thanks to Ms. Manuka and the entire teaching team for their support and guidance in helping him stay focused.

(04.10.2025) As we conclude our journey this May, we are beyond thankful to TCM and the partnership we have had with them in the upbringing and education of all 3 of our kids as they went from the infant classroom all the way to primary. We have been continuously impressed with the school readiness that our kids learned, and the nurturing environment they have been in since day 1 - my husband and I left there every morning with a sense of trust and comfort knowing our kids left our hands with happy anticipation of their day and even happier excitement to tell us about their day at pick-up. From staff to teachers, we have always appreciated the transparent communication. Thank you TCM for all the wonderful years, you have a long-life advocate of your school and teachings from our family! (01.06.21) During these COVID times, Curious Minds exceeded our expectations and helped to provide a safe environment to my children's needs physically and emotionally. As working parents during these tough times, it is important to have peace of mind that your kids are thriving and learning with compassionate teachers and a director that places importance in health and well-being of everyone. During the pandemic, the school has placed strict mandatory guidelines on teachers and students in order to keep everyone safe and worry-free. Among the many initiatives, kids ages 3 and up are required to wear masks, bring their own water bottle, and have a temperature check upon entry. Communication is key for us and the school has done of keeping parents up-to-date on any school closures, covid cases (none so far!), and updates on how our children are doing (individually). Lastly, a life-saver for us has been the opening of their "Elementary Virtual Class". This classroom allows for kids that are going to public elementary school to be able to have one-on-one teacher assistance as they take their virtual classes during the day. My child has been able to do great in virtual school and be able to get socialization with her peers every day, allowing her to continue a normal lifestyle. (3 Years Ago) When we moved to this area and started our search to find the best school for our children that would not only take care of our two kids (ages 1 and 4), but also teach them in the most positive manner, Curious Minds met all our needs! We have never felt more secure and at peace knowing that our kids are in good hands and are learning deep values of life, hard work and friendship. The diversity of education and life skills that are taught at this school are beyond our expectations and we are forever grateful. The teachers and staff show a true passion for teaching and devotion to helping children grow to be strong, humble, independent human beings. Thank you Curious Minds!

Our two sons attended The Curious Minds in Chantilly, VA from the time they were 18 months old until they started kindergarten, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The teachers and staff provided a nurturing and stimulating environment that laid a strong foundation for our children's learning, setting them up for success in elementary school. We feel truly blessed to have had such an exceptional school within walking distance in our neighborhood. Our boys have made lifelong friends and cherished memories at The Curious Minds. A special thanks to Miss Anu, the owner, who skillfully navigated the challenges of COVID, ensuring the school remained operational remotely during that difficult time. We wholeheartedly recommend The Curious Minds to any parent seeking a top-notch Montessori education for their children.

My daughter is a student at The Curious Minds and transitioning her here from an in-home daycare has been the best decision for our family. At two years old, I believe she has become more independent, vocal, and has learned positive social skills from this program. The teachers and administrators have a great way of enforcing structure and the Montessori methodology to the children’s everyday environment, with the balance of also having empathy, individual care, and an overall kindness and love that you would want to see from anyone who is caring for your child. The teachers are very knowledgeable, responsive, and engaging, and they do a great job communicating often with parents. I find it very convenient that the school uses an app to communicate general tasks and updates, and they share your child’s pictures throughout the day, message you with anything that might be needed (i.e., diapers, clothes, etc.), and automatically send you a daily activity log for your child as well. The team goes above and beyond in also having lots of outdoor activities for the kids on a regular basis, and they do a lot of extras for the kids like fun summer splash pad activities for them, spirit weeks in the winter, etc. The Curious Minds is truly one of a kind, so look no further if you’re considering a new space for your little one to thrive!

My daughter has been enrolled here since she was an infant and I can not imagine a better environment for her. The teachers and administrators care deeply for each child and observe Montessori principles in order to foster independence from day one. The staff spends a ton of time outside with the kids in the surroundings of the school which features a playground, many nature paths, and a pond. The staff's communication and transparency is also world-class. I could not recommend TCM highly enough!

I've had the pleasure of watching my nephew thrive at Curious Minds Montessori School, and I'm thoroughly impressed with the school's impact on his development. An Amazing experience for our family. The teachers deeply and truly care about the children and their learning. I've had my infant in TCM and she's already learned more than our other children at the same age, because of the Montessori focus on life skills and understanding the world around you. Ms. Keyla and Ms. Alicia are excellent administrators, responsive, organized, and loving to the kids. The facility is lovely, calming, and the right type of environment for a child to grow and nurture themselves and others around them. I love that it is also within the neighborhood, so it has a home-y feel as well still being convenient. I'm looking forward to more years at TCM and my family growing with the community.

Being a first time parent/mom, I had a lot of anxiety sending my son to the school (especially because of Covid). I was stressed/worried what if my son doesn’t adapt well. After speaking to a friend whose son goes here, she assured me that the staff members are great with kids. I check in many times on my son (through emails), and Ms.Anu and Ms.Madhavi are very quick to respond and keep assuring me my son is happy and that he is Adapting well. Recently, when I went to pick up my son, I saw the sweet bond he shared with Ms.Madhavi. She was singing to him and he was all smiles and giggles. That moment right there assured me, my Husband and I made the best and safe decision for our son. I also had the opportunity to talk to Ms. Anu more and saw her kindness and loving side towards my son. He is truly treated like their own son and is part of their family. It makes me feel so happy to see that he is in great hands. My son has only been there for 2 weeks and they have won his heart and mine. The teachers and all the staff members are very kind, passionate about what they do, and can be trusted with your child in a heartbeat! Thank you once again and mainly for taking Covid so seriously! It helps going to bed every night less worried!

We are truly blessed to have this school open up so close to us . Two of our children went to the school and learned so much . Ms. Anu and all the teachers have been so great from Day 1 and our kids just loved to go to school in that environment. They do alot inside and outside the classroom as well. We were new to Monterrossi and was surprised how much the kids learned both in academics and life skills here . My daughter who finished up school there was fully prepared for kindergarten when she went. I don’t give too many recommendations but this school definitely deserves mention !!! My only regret is that I couldn’t send my oldest child there as well.

Highly Recommend. The staff and teachers genuinely care for the academic and emotional well-being of our children, and we do not regret for one moment having chose to share the formative years of their lives here. When Covid hit, this school went above and beyond to ensure our kids were safe and focused on learning, and never once did we feel unease about their safety and care. This school has exceeded our expectations and we will certainly look back on this chapter of our lives fondly. Thank you to all the teachers and staff!

Very glad that we joined our daughter in Curious Minds in their Pre-K program. We have seen how tremendously her personality has improved mentally and socially. All thanks to Miss Anu for her constant vigilance and kindness. School curriculum is very cool with lots of fun activities, art, language and playtime. My daughter loved going to this school. Best daycare school in the neighbourhood.

Curious Minds Montessori school has been nothing but the best, as we are clearly seeing the difference/progress that the kid has made in the 1.5 years that he has been going to the school. Fantastic teachers, excellent facilities, and good reporting of the child’s activities through the day. Very receptive to questions, and feedback. Particularly in this period of virus protection and social distancing, it is great to see the measures that the school has taken to keep the children and staff safe. Gave us the confidence to send our kid back to school. As they say, the formative years of a child are the most important and needs utmost attention as to what they spend their time on, and where they do it, and in what company. We are so glad that our kid’s formative years are being shaped by Curious Minds Montessori school.
